Sunday, May 8, The Second Sunday after Easter:  Low Mass and Homily, 8:00 a.m.; Sung Mass, Sermon, Church School, and Coffee Hour, 10:00.

Many Thanks to all who offered their time, talent, and treasure to make our Holy Week and Easter celebration so edifying.  We are indebted to Linda Hooks and the Altar Guild, Jim Mayer and the Choir, Cary Binkley and the Acolytes, and all others who worked so hard.  Thanks also to Eliza Kirkpatrick and the Church School for the Children’s Flowering of the Cross, and to those who donated for the Easter altar flowers.

Spring Luncheon: Kudos to the Anglican Church Women for yesterday’s annual Spring Luncheon, another memorable event.

New Children’s Chapel now open!  All children are welcome to participate in this fun and joyous time together, 10:00 a.m Sundays.  More to come on our Chapel’s Dedication Ceremony.

Annual Diocesan Synod, Diocese of the Western States, Anglican Province of Christ the King

The twentieth Synod/twentieth ACW Conference will be hosted by several parishes in the Diocese of the Western States, May 18-21, 2011.  All Synod/ACW Conference meetings and Banquet will be held at the Lafayette Park Hotel, Lafayette, California, and the Synodical Solemn Mass and Brunch on Saturday will be at St. Peter’s Pro-Cathedral, hosted by the Diocesan ACW.  For a full schedule, fees, and reservations, email Christine Sunderland, Chris@ChristineSunderland.com by May 10.  This is an opportunity to learn about the Province of Christ the King, our Diocese of the Western States, and meet our Archbishop Provence.  Morning workshops, daily Mass, and Evening Prayer are times of communal worship for all.  It is a chance to meet and fellowship with other parishes in our Diocese.
